	WATER IS TURBID
	Cause: excess proliferation of bacteria and algae due to high frequency of use of the pool, high temperatures, heavy rain, accumulation of impurities etc. Or reduced efficiency of the filter.
	Steps: check and, if necessary, adjust pH value and content of active chlorine in water, check filtration, add flocculant, rinse filter.

	WATER IS CLOUDY AND GREEN, POOL WALLS AND BOTTOM ARE SLIMY
	Cause: increased occurrence of algae.
	Steps: check and adjust the pH value, clean walls mechanically, check content of active chlorine, apply anti-algae preparation, increase filtration cycle.

	WATER REMAINS GREEN
	Cause: presence of dead algae that cannot be cleaned with filter.
	Steps: : check and clean the filter, perform flocculation and remove flocculated particles with a submersible vacuum cleaner from the bottom, increase filtration cycle.

	WATER IS BROWN
	Cause: high concentration of iron or manganese (in the case of water from a well).
	Steps: check and adjust pH value and content of active chlorine, flocculate, add algaecide, increase filtration cycle.

	WATER IS MILKY WHITE
	Cause: high occurrence of calcium and magnesium ions.
	Steps: check and adjust pH, flocculate, increase filtration cycle.

	STAINED WALLS
	Cause: water contains metallic salts (occurring mainly in the case of water from a well).
	Steps: empty the pool and clean the walls with a disinfectant.

	PERVASIVE OFFENSIVE ODOUR OF CHLORINE
	Cause: incorrect pH value or over-chlorination, formation of chloramines.
	Steps: check and adjust pH value and content of active chlorine, flocculate, add algaecide, increase filtration cycle.

	EYE AND SKIN IRRITATION
	Cause: incorrect pH value or high value of chlorine.
	Steps: check and adjust pH value.

	CORROSION OF METALLIC PARTS
	Cause: water is too acidic.
	Steps: check and adjust pH value.
